Description of the problem/suggestion:
The gallery has code with very little in terms of text to explain what's going on (some comments in the code) or links to other parts of the docs. It would be much better to have some of that information in the User Guide section or better yet make a How To and Tutorial sections. The images in the gallery aren't that helpful since a lot of them are basically the same or not very informative about what the example is about.
