Virtual Network required for Keyboard to work?

Good afternoon,
I just purchased a NanoKVM Pro (ATX version). I recently ran into an issue where the remote keyboard stopped working (but the mouse was still working). I rebooted both the KVM and the PC several times, tried different USB-C cords, reset HID and also set to HID-only mode, to no avail.
It turns out I had toggled off the "Virtual Network" option in the settings. Once I turned this back on, the keyboard started working again.
Is this a known bug or is this working as intended?

Could you help us check a few things so we can try to reproduce the issue?

Is this problem reproducible on your side? For example, if you disable Virtual Network again, does the keyboard stop working every time?

What operating system is running on the host machine (Windows / Linux / macOS) and what hardware platform is the host machine using?

Could you try performing a factory reset or reflashing the firmware and see if the issue still occurs afterward?
